Robin is process developer.

Robin's career at E+E Elektronik started in 2005 with an apprenticeship contract as an electronics technician. He was soon planning to become a process developer. To achieve his goal, he successfully completed the Paul Hahn technical college (HTL) evening school parallel to his full-time job.

Robin, what does your workday at E+E Elektronik look like?

As a process developer, I establish and support new and existing processes in production. I particularly enjoy the variety of activities. My morning usually starts with a production meeting, with a tour of production on the agenda for later on: are all the processes running, are there any problems that need to be solved? Sometimes an emergency (like plant downtime) upsets the daily routine a bit – but that makes my workday entertaining rather than monotonous.

What is special about your work for you personally?

Working independent and the trust placed in me, as well as recognition from my superiors. New challenges await me every day – from troubleshooting equipment to new projects in which we work with other departments. For example, colleagues develop a new product and we analyse whether the idea is actually feasible. Together, we then always try to get the idea on track.

What makes E+E Elektronik the right employer for you?

The sense of togetherness in the company and especially in my department. I have very helpful colleagues, the team spirit is spot on, and we are a great group! Relations away from the workplace are also good. I also enjoy the short commute and the flexible working hours.
