Due to its design and materials, the E+E thin film sensing element for air velocity is highly insensitive to pollution. When operaten in very dusty or diry environment, cleaning might be necessary. The standard scope of supply of E+E air velocity sensors includes an inspection certificate according DIN EN 10204 - 2.2 or DIN EN 10204 - 3.1, depending on the model. For readjusting the air velocity sensor you need first of all a reliable reference. This would be a wind channel. For the readjustment procedure please see the operation manual of the specific E+E air velocity sensor available at www.epluse.com
In case an approriate air velocity reference in not available, please return the device to E+E for service.
Transmitter with "two-wires" technology receive the power from the process, and the signal is carry on return wire (closed current loop). With technology "three-wires" the power supply is separate from current output: 2 wires are the power supply and third carry the signal.
