We have been using the E+E Sensors in our vegetable storage system packages, and these sensors have proven to be an exceptional tool for environmental monitoring. The sensors’ accuracy and reliability in measuring temperature, humidity, and CO₂ levels have significantly improved our ability to maintain optimal conditions within the storage environment.
E+E sensors are designed so that probes and components can be easily replaced – quickly, on-site, and without dismantling the entire device. This is particularly beneficial in critical applications such as livestock climate control or ripening storage, where it helps avoid unnecessary downtime, reduces maintenance costs and ensures long-term operational reliability. The modular design offers a clear advantage, especially for installations that are difficult to access.
Common interfaces such as Modbus, analogue or digital outputs enable seamless system integration. Thanks to standardised protocols, system integrators, technicians or operators can continue using existing infrastructure and incorporate the acquired data into their control systems – without the need for additional configuration. IP65/IP67 enclosures and interchangeable filters– These ingress protection ratings reliably prevent dust and water intrusion, ensuring safe operation even during high-pressure cleaning or H₂O₂ sterilisation.
E+E sensor coating – A specially developed hygroscopic protective coating covers the active sensing element. It protects against dust, corrosion and moisture exposure, ensuring long-term stable measurement performance.
