E+E Elektronik is accredited as a calibration laboratory according to EN ISO/IEC 17025 with the identification number 0608 by Akkreditierung Austria / Federal Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs. The services of the accredited laboratory include manufacturer-independent calibrations of measuring instruments for the measurands humidity, dew point, CO₂, air velocity, air flow, temperature and pressure.
Furthermore, E+E Elektronik has been appointed by the Federal Office of Metrology and Surveying (BEV) to maintain as designated institute the national standards for humidity, dew point, air velocity and gas concentration CO₂ in Austria.
The reliable calibration of the measuring instruments is performed in the accredited calibration laboratory at E+E Elektronik Headquarters in Engerwitzdorf, Austria.
The calibration laboratory of E+E Elektronik is accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, with identification number 0608, by Akkreditierung Austria / Federal Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs.
Accredited calibration certificates document the traceability of the measured values to national standards. The accreditation and the monitoring is performed by Akkreditierung Austria.
Each issued accredited calibration certificate is approved by an authorized signatory. Calibration certificates from accredited laboratories are necessary for measuring devices (such as factory standards)when the measured values have to be traceable.
These national standards must be compared with the standards of other countries by means of „key comparisons" in order to be recognized internationally in line with the CIPM-MRA (international Mutual Recognition Agreement).
For the highest measurement authority in a country, there is the opportunity to prepare expert opinions for the measurement variables. Furthermore, within the scope of technical measurement possibilities, qualified measurements can be carried out that extend beyond the scope of an accredited laboratory.
As a Designated Institute, E+E Elektronik is authorised to perform special calibrations for humidity, dew point, air flow velocity and gas concentration CO₂ at the level of a National Metrological Institute (NMI). This is of particular interest for other accredited calibration bodies, designated institutes or NMIs.
