30 Years of Quality from Austria

E+E Elektronik produced its first humidity sensors in 1990 and shortly after became one of the first Austrian companies to be awarded the quality management standard ISO 9001. Thus, E+E’s commitment to quality was firmly rooted in the company right from the start.

From the Humidity Sensing Element to the Humidity Transmitter

E+E’s own, high quality sensing elements form the basis for all E+E humidity transmitters. Together with tailor-made electronics and outstanding calibration expertise, they enable high-accuracy measurement of relative humidity and temperature.

Accredited Calibration Laboratory and Designated Institute of the Austrian Federal Office of Metrology and Surveying

E+E operates an accredited calibration laboratory - according to EN ISO/IEC 17025 – in Engerwitzdorf. Humidity calibrations in the range 0 to 98 % RH at a temperature of -70 to 200 °C (-94 °F to 392 °F) can be carried out here. The E+E calibration laboratory also performs accredited calibration for the physical quantities dew point, air velocity, mass flow, temperature, CO₂ and pressure.

As a Designated Institute of the Austrian Federal Office of Metrology and Surveying (BEV), E+E Elektronik is responsible for the maintenance of the national etalon for humidity and air velocity. E+E Elektronik is thus the highest meteorological authority of the country for these physical quantities.
