Renate is group lead at production.

Renate, what does your workday at E+E Elektronik look like?
As a Group Lead in production, I am the "point of contact" especially for technical problems. But my job entails many other tasks. In the morning, I complete the detailed planning of work distribution among the employees, I prioritise the orders and make sure that delivery dates are met and the orders are processed on time. I like the collaboration and coordination with our technicians and the Scheduling department. Together we make sure that our products are top quality before they are sent out into the world later on. On top of this, being in contact with other employees is important to me, this also makes another task as a Group Lead easier: defining and scheduling basic and advanced training for the team.
What is special about your work for you personally?
After so many years at E+E Elektronik, there are still new challenges: the different characters of the colleagues, the great variety of products ... I particularly enjoy working with people and the variety of work, time just flies by.
What makes E+E Elektronik the right employer for you?
I enjoy working here because we have a great working atmosphere. There are many events for all employees and E+E Elektronik is a very social company that looks after its staff. If it's fun, why would I want to work anywhere else? In the whole 35 years, I have never even thought about changing jobs.
