Patrik is electronics technician at our test laboratory.
Patrik's working day begins at 6:30 a.m. with his journey from Upper Mühlviertel. Despite the long commute of 45 minutes, he enjoys driving to work every day.
Patrik, what does your workday at E+E Elektronik look like?
We usually start the day with a short consultation with our head of department relating to work assignments. Our head of department distributes the orders and I can work on them completely independently. That's what I like best about my job. I carry out various product tests such as requalification and type approval tests, evaluate the log data and then write the reports in German or English. In the test lab, we also conduct and evaluate long-term tests, of course. The top priority is validating our product characteristics at all times. My working day is always varied and entertaining.
What is special about your work for you personally?
The familiar atmosphere in the company and the department makes my workplace something very special. The commute is 45 minutes each way every day, but I'm happy to live with that because I like it here. My father and uncle also work at E+E Elektronik. The three of us carpool, which is supported by the company with an additional carpool bonus.
